Check out the links below to see a sample of the show Clip Joint is a comedy about a movie review show. It stars the real-life Duke Maltin playing a somewhat fictional Duke Maltin as Clip Joint's movie reviewer. Additionally, Duke is the real-life and somewhat fictional cousin of the real-life movie-reviewer Leonard Maltin. The show-within-the-show features Duke and The Girls (chosen for their special understanding of cinematic syntax) which is counterpointed by an ensemble cast representing Duke's agents, managers, PR consultants, network executives, attorneys, hangers-on and people he doesn't even know. The show has the same satirical bite found in the works of Terry Southern (Dr. Strangelove, The Magic Christian) and comments on the media, ethics and anything else that gets in the way.
