Kelly Michèle

One of Kelly’s first performances was an appearance on the critically acclaimed television series (Interview), which appears to be a Charlie Rose-style interview show featuring authors as subjects talking about their books. The twist here is that the authors are actually actors playing the part and telling a story written for them by the show’s creator.

Kelly appeared as the character Raine Sheridan. The show elicited a great response from the viewing audience, most of whom believed the interview to be real. Kelly went on to tape a second (Interview) and several televised one-acts. She became a cast regular in the ensemble comedy series Clip Joint, the soap opera Confessions and the anthology Woman.

With Point of Departure,Kelly debuts in feature films as a leading lady.  More to the point, she virtually carries the entire film portraying a solitary woman in search of herself after the disappearance of the man in her life.

Bertrand Schafer

Bertrand appeared as a series regular in the TV series Clip Joint and starred in an installment of (Interview). He also had lead roles in several of the Discussions anthology TV series.

Jean-Jacques Millo

Jean-Jacques wrote and directed the film Rimbaud, which dealt with the life of the poet. He is a writer, publisher and was a fixture at SIS in Paris for many years.

Michael Chanslor

Michael has composed music for Clip Joint and The Jerry Fairfax Show.  He is Susan Anton's long-time keyboardist, vocalist, conductor, and arranger, appearing at major venues around the world including Radio City Music Hall and the Superdome, as well as on NBC's "The Tonight Show" and on the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon.

Michael Chanslor stars in his own weekly television comedy series, "The Jerry Fairfax Show", and appears in the Academy Award-nominated film "Ghost World", and in "Neil Simon's The Odd Couple II". Television appearances include "Melrose Place", "Any Day Now", "That's Life", "Gilmore Girls", and "American Dreams".

I watched your film as soon as I got home, and found it as fascinating as expected.  It combined beauty and politics ... Perfect!
Kathleen O’Hara, Issues Network

“I enjoyed ‘Point of Departure’ and was reminded of the style of Antonioni.  Kelly Michèle is eminently watchable; the melancholy set of her face evokes a romantic quality rarely seen in today's current crop of actresses.”
Edward Gurango, Former Director of the Philippines Film Festival

“The camera really likes Kelly.  And she seems completely comfortable with it as well.  She has a disarming sensuality combined with an intelligence that will appeal to both men and women.”
Rita Casillas, Media Group
